Like it says on the title, person who has the receipt number right before me got approved for DACA AND EAD...(I tried typing it out of curiosity..)
I applied mine on Oct 30th...does that mean I could possibly get approved soon ???

Also...
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME ANSWER THIS
I need to get back to recruiter and I dont know what to say..

My internship HR person asked me if I need sponsorship to legally work in the US now or in the future..
What am I supposed to say??
Should I say "no, I don't need sponsorship because I have work authorization card"???
What am I supposed to say..?
Also... One problem is the internship starts in January but my work permit expires in January 21st and I'm not sure when USCIS will approve my case so what would HR say about that??? would they reject me for that?
and If they did let me work until Jan 21st for internship and my case doesn't get approved till then...? will they let me wait until I get the new card???

seems like you have no other option but to notify your HR and wait till you get your EAD renewed. You will get it renewed before it will expired that is if you are renewing your DACA, you should be straight ma man.

The reciept number doesn't matter.

Well take the internship and let HR worry about your expiration, it is up to their discretion. Some employers have some leeway. Who knows, your new card might come in right before the 21st. And no sponsorship needed.

but that number was right before mine so people could easily mistype one number and see other people's case status.
Plus, the case status doesn't say ANYTHING about the information about the person...
If it was so confidential, they would make each person who apply through USCIS make username and password.. wouldn't they?

Pretty sure that if it is not otherwise password protected it's in the public domain.

Also, the numbers are not approved in linear order. I had a guy 4 cases ahead of me get approved 2 months before I did, the guy right behind me was approved a month before.
