I got an email yesterday from my congressman he said this "I have learned that your case was transferred from the Nebraska Service to California Service Center. Your biometrics were received last month and the petition is enroute to an officer's desk. An email has been sent to the officer to give it priority. They will send me an email once a decision has been reached.

Thank you."

But my case status hasn't updated reflecting that my case was transferred? I wonder if they (USCIS) will send me a letter in the mail about the transfer? or they just forgot to notify me threw a case update and mail?

Yes, they will send you a letter, but you may receive it with a couple of weeks delay.
Your status online will eventually change, too. We had just had the same development in a past couple of months...

I sent a inquiry request on a missing notice for the transfer letter that I never got it says on case history that on December 15 basically that they assigned an officer to respond to my inquiry, hopefully the officer sends me the transfer notice, I need it for my records.
