I'm stuck where I can't get my renewal approved. It's taking longer than my original application. So I started looking at other numbers and I have seen a few apps that were received on August 26 and are still waiting. Uscis keeps blowing me off saying its normal yet people from October and November are already getting approved. Pissed.

I can totally understand your frustration.....but remember ALL cases are on a "Case By Case Basis" meaning all cases are different and will be processed in different times, someone might get approved in 2 weeks or 1 month or 6 months or 2 years. This whole program (DACA) is all case by case basis, there's really not much you can do besides keep calling or get in contact with your congressman or ombudsman. Good luck.

I'm August 19th, i feel you man. I've bothered them a lot about it and they seem to give me generic answers and even told me i could get my current daca and ead extended up to 120 days, but to schedule an infopass for that. I have my appointment tomorrow, but from what I've read it doesn't help much but the two reps I talked to assured me they would help. I called again today and asked to speak to a level 2 rep for reassurance. He looked into my case and said that my case looked pretty much reviewed and that the last step was the back ground check which he said they had received already so he didn't know why my daca and ead weren't renewed. He put in a request for someone to look at it and told me that I should still attend my appointment but that his request should mean I'm going to be approved "any day now" and that even without his request, I should have been approved already...so something or someone is messing up with some people's applications.

I've been trying to get a level 2 rep but they keep telling me that there's nothing more they can tell. And they also keep pushing on to hang up on me.

that's what i got today. as soon as i mentioned level 2 rep the guy was pushing to hang up on me. he stated it was not necessary. and i asked him twice until he sighed and said if it made me feel better that he would forward me to a level 2 rep which was more help than he was of course since they gave me a more detailed status on my case and even submitted the inquiry for my case. don't let them push you over.

My renewal application was received July 15th and still waiting.
The ombudsman office contacted my service center (Nebraska) and was told that I should hear from them in the next 30 days (I got an email Dec. 18.)
While today (in response to an inquiry I made with one of the customer representatives on the phone) I got an email stating that an officer is currently reviewing my case and that I should hear from them within the next 60 days!!!!
I don't know what else to do at this point. I need an answer from them before the next semester begins, in order to keep my employment. I'm a college instructor.

Wow that is terrible. When do you expire? I expired November 14. I've contacted ombudsman but they haven't done anything. I told them about the 4 month processing frame and they said that it's just an stimate and I can take a lot more time.

I was approved in 2 months 27 days !! Being a first time applicant. You should have already being approved. I'm sorry to hear about your situation.

I expired December 5th. Good thing I'm off the clock. Classes resume January 16th and so does my contract.
