I've reached a point in my life where I am really worried about my future.. I have a good job, car, USC fiancee, live comfortably... but then I start thinking about reality, the "what if's".
As everyone here (or at least almost everyone), I would like to eventually become a USC, even a PR. If I am approved for renewal of my EAD, that gives me 3 more years to do.... what?
Of course I would like to and WILL make the best of it, and I want to travel with AP and eventually get married/get a green card. (Plan A)
What if I can't travel with AP? What if things dont work out with my fiancee and me? What if i travel with AP, get married, but problems come up when applying for green card?

My plan B would be to apply for a Canadian Visa (permanent stay) but I've been researching and it could go either way, 50/50.

Plan C would be to go back to my home country, Mexico.. but that would ONLY be once there is NO chance of me fixing my status in the USA. I would have to make the best of it..
I really dont want to go to Mexico, I have been living in the USA ALL my life, grew up here.. I am an American. Me moving to Mexico would be the same as me moving to any Spanish-speaking country in the world.. I would be a stranger to it.

This is in my mind constantly.. living day to day without knowing what will happen to me if DACA stops, cant ever fix status, etc.. I DO NOT want to live the rest of my life like I am now.. I know DACA is am amazing opportunity for us all and I am very thankful for it, but I couldnt live my life renewing DACA over and over.. (granted that it continues).
If there was every a chance for DREAMERS to join the military, I would be the first one in line. I never thought I would consider joining the military.. but to "become an American" I would proudly do it..

Sigh...

Plan A - closure on my deportation order, 245(i) adjustment through my step father (provided that my lawyer can argue out of the age out due to DOL taking its sweet ass time).
Plan B - closure on my deportation order, play the AP roulette, marry my USC gf, adjust status
Plan C - MAVNI
Plan D - Same as plan B, with a different person.
Plan E - Same as plan B, with pretty much any USC, enter into the Military with CPR, naturalize under INA 329.
Plan F - Move to UK, Canada, or Australia.

Sigh Youngin'....You've had 2 good years with an EAD and walking around the country with little to no limitations and you'll get another good 3 years with the likelihood to renew again since there will never ever be a President Ted Cruz. Worst case, you'll be able to work here, get AP, pay taxes, and be just like everybody else for another 3 years.

Best case, Republicans get their asses kicked in 2016 and finally CIR is passed or you get married. Trust me, this is NOT desperate. Desperate is being wide awake on the night you graduate from High School and it finally dawns on you that your friends are going to college, can work, can drive, and are having the time of their life and you can't even apply to college or apply for a job washing toilets. When you can't even plan for a month ahead, that is desperation. You've got it good now and it will only get better.

For me,
  • Plan A: was to get a work sponsorship. That got shot to hell.
  • Plan B: was to get married by the time I was 30. That got shot to hell.
  • Plan C: was surely by 2010 some sort of immigration reform or Dream Act would be passed. Not quite.
  • Plan D: was my brother's sponsorship would by my absolute last resort if nothing else happens. Currently, this is still in play, but my priority date is like 3 years and 8 months behind...who knows how long that will take given F4 is a roller coaster.
  • Plan E: Hey, DACA is going to save my sanity until plan D kicks in!
  • Plan F: With DACA, I may actually be in a better place in life and meet someone I want to be with and plan B might still be in play!
  • Plan G: We're all going to die some time...They can't deport a dead guy so I'll either be in the ground in US soil or my ashes are going to float around in the ocean somewhere so by the time I've reached that time of my life (hopefully form old age and/or too much sex), I won't care anymore.

I married a usc and he turned out to be an asshole. Im working on a divorce. I have no plans but if anything I'll have to wait till my son can petition for me. But im hopeful and still believe in love. If not I'll move to mexico and then move to another country with a good living standard.

Divorce while an CPR isn't really the end of the line. You can always try a good faith waiver if you divorce. You need to document the marriage was legit while it lasted, if that kid is his then you're pretty much set, children generally don't happen on their own. If you got hit at least once, or he was otherwise abusive, and you can prove it then a battered spouse waiver is the way to go.

Otherwise while you're still a CPR you can enlist and naturalize under the Bush memo from 2002, bypassing the 3/5 year requirement, and the limitation on having conditions removed first.

Talk to a good lawyer. If you were in an abusive relationship, there might be options. Someone I know was married to an abusive alcoholic and she ended up leaving him before their interview and he thought his life was over, but ended up getting his green card. It wasn't cheap though.

Plan A) Finish my MA degree. Work with DACA for a few years to build up resume.
Plan B) If no reform has passed by time I finish A, apply to move to Australia under self nominated visa. The only reason I am doing A is to get more points and increase my chance of approval.
Plan C) Migrate to Israel under law of return.

I already lost my hope (and youth), so actually I am not sure how DACA Expansion will open a door for me. So for now, my plans are:

Plan A: Apply for DACA Expansion, get approved, and find a good job.
Plan B: Keep trying.
Plan C: Keep trying.
Plan D: Keep trying...
Plan E: I'll die someday.
