simple. DACA is not a law, it's a presidential memorandum (executive action) ,it doesn't required congress to pass any laws to be removed, it only takes 5 seconds (president's signature) for DACA to be terminated. This means that DACA can be terminated at any time, it can even be terminated without any previous announcements, just like DACA was born, with the president's signature, and it caught us all by surprise.

Nobody knows what's going to happen but possession is nine tenth of the law so it's always harder to take away something that one has than to give it in the first place. I can't imagine any Democrat president taking this away, but a Republican can put a stop to it.

What will happen then? in the 3, 6,9, 12, 15, 18,21...years that you had it, you would have built a life for yourself, got to school, got a job, moved out of your parents' house, got married, got your own family, or found a way to legalize yourself before the program is terminated and you're back to where you started with some great memories.
