I'm a bit nervous, not going to lie. To the people who have used AP, any words of encouragement or advice? Or experience at San Francisco International airport?

Does anyone know of anyone who was rejected? if so what happens if your not paroled? I am just a plan B type of guy, and need to know my options if it gets to that (Hopefully not because I don't have any family in mexico)

thank you

I've done AP research like no other. I've read about hundreds of stories and so far only heard about one denied entry in this forum because the officer didn't know what AP was. I submitted my application almost two weeks ago to visit my ill grandmother, I haven't even been approved but I'm already nervous. Where are you going? Also, don't forget to share your experience when you return

Sorry for the late reply! I made it back. woot! But I got a bad case of travelers sickness. :/

So I flew in from Mexico on United Airline. In mexico, I showed the lady my AP and Mexican passport and it took her a while to put it into the system but after a few minutes I boarded the plane with no problems. Once we landed at San Francisco International airport I went through customs and the sent me into a room and took my ap. I was the only person there. I thought for sure there would be more since it was a big airport, but then I came back around 5pm on a wed. The officers where friendly though, if anything annoyed that I was making them work. It took about five minutes, they took my fingerprints and entered my name into the system. They didn't ask me any questions at all about where I was coming from or why (even thought I had everything prepared in my mind) I heard of other dreamers getting drilled on but I suppose that depends on the officer who is paroling you. Then they handed me my stamped AP and said I was free to go.

After all this time I FINALLY gotten rid of my EWI. Its been a long scary journey but it was worth it in the end. As long as you don't have any prior deportations or anything on your record I would defiantly recommend using AP to clear Ewi.

Now to adjust.

As long as you have a valid reason aka educational humanitarian or work related with proof.

thank you

There's a really good blog run by this guy JuHong.. http://www.joinjuhong.com

He posted his whole experience going out of country with AP and returning through SFO. I'm in the same boat! I just sent my passport photos to my lawyer to apply for AP... Crossing my fingers everything gets approved sooner than later so I can go see my grandmother as well as my parents! Then I can come back and get rid of my EWI status and adjust to a green card as I'm married to a US citizen!
