*Facepalm* Moment

I had a huge facepalm moment. Let me explain what happened....

I received in the mail a letter from the DMV stating I had to renew my license and in order to do that I had to show up. This was in February, so I'm here thinking my license will expire on the 21st of this month. I go in the first time around in the beginning of the month and the lady tells me to wait until it expires to renew. I'm here thinking she just doesn't want to do her job and is being a bitch. So, I left and I went back yesterday thinking my license had expired. They renew it and everything is dandy.

Ready for the facepalm moment?

I look at my old license and realize that it doesn't expire until May! So, here I am spending money, and it doesn't expire until May! I have to go back in May to renew my license again because since I live in NJ I have to remove the "probationary" restriction on it and spend money AGAIN to do it.

I went through TWO people yesterday and not one of them said, "Hey, your license expires in May. Why don't you wait." Instead, I'm anxious to renew my license because of the stupid letter from the DMV reminding me to come in.

After I spent an hr on the DMV line and spending money. I was so speechless, I just did a facepalm in the car. I literally felt like I was losing my mind or something. Anyone else experienced something similar?

Just thought I would share and just have a laugh about it. Lol!

hey guys, do your license expire when the work permit expires or on your birthday??

I had to retake a written test every time I needed to renew...

and unlike everyone else's my dl expires on the day my work permit expires... and there are DACA people who expires on their birthday...

Mine expires the same day my daca expires.

My DACA expired in February. My DL expires in May, not sure how it works.
