Hello,
I lost my login info from a couple of years ago and made a new one.
Just wanted to share my experience and give hope to those who sent their renewals late. My EAD expires 4/18/15. I sent my application (no lawyer) on January 15 and it was transferred to Nebraska. With the holidays I completely forgot about sending it earlier. I thought I would be with an expired EAD for a couple of months based on other experiences on here. I did't really mind that I was going to be a couple of months without it. I never really checked the status of my application online . I checked my mail on 4/7/15 and there was my EAD card! I was so happy because I was not expecting to get it this soon. I will now go renew my Driver's Licence since it expires 4/18.

What I recommend to those who are waiting is to just wait. Don't check the status online all the time. I think that would just make the wait seem longer.

I would like to apply for advance parole but sadly all my grandparents passed away and the only relative that I have in Mexico is an aunt and she is not sick. She has high blood pressure bot nothing serious. Do you guys think that would be enough to get the advance parole? Or would visiting a grave be enough?

I would really love to go to Mexico. I came here when I was 6. I been here for 27 years (Wow I feel old compared to most of you here). Even though I have been here for most of my life I never forget where I come from.

Good luck to everyone!

Whoa congrats on the EAD! I don't think a lot of ppl are going to be very happy about your timeline though haha. Most ppl have been waiting a long time. Anyways I would like to know about the Advanced Parole question as well.
