Ok well a few months ago I went to jail for a fight that I had with my domestic partner ( I am gay) but ok that not the problem. I was there maybe 14 hours it's been almost 5 months and I have not heard anything since I got out but when I filled up the application I put no to the arrest question and I been so worried since then when I was arrested I told my fake name since cops in my town know me because of my job but what can I do I been worried sick. Please help me any one that has gone thru this and plz don't be mean or sarcastic thanks in advance

You could always talk to a lawyer...

How far along is your application?

You definitely need to talk to an attorney. Didn't they get your fingerprints when you got arrested?
USCIS first sends you a receipt notice, then a biometrics appointment notice and they'll get your fingerprints and background check so they will know you've been arrested before and they will probably request more evidence from you about it since you checked "no" on the application. I think it would have been easier if you had checked yes and provided all the information and evidence you have/know about your arrest so you wouldn't go through any delays or get denied.

I would talk to an immigration attorney and also try to get the charges dropped (if they can be dropped) and keep all paperwork and evidence because you will need to provide it to USCIS. Even though you got arrested under a fake name your fingerprints don't lie...
Good luck

I googled about your situation and found this on a frequently asked questions page: "If you ever used a false name in order to work using someone else’s Social Security Number (SSN), make sure that you disclosed that other name in your DACA application. If not, you risk USCIS finding out about the identity in the future and penalizing you for perpetrating fraud."

Did you provide the name you used and the SSN when you applied?

Yes I put that name on my application since I have used it to work. But like since I never heard anything from the court and I tried to hurry and apply since I have neglected it. I even called the court house and they told me they might drop it since it wasn't a bad crime. But I even Did a criminal check from the state of ga and nothing came up. I paid for it on the ga website. It wasn't like those fake sites for criminal reports. In the website it said that the crime might not show because it might of been dropped or it was reduced to mistaminor.

Were your fingerprints taken at the police station? or did they just hold you?
