I'm planning on getting married...eventually.

I was wondering if there's a way to change your EAD card name after you get married? Is it worth changing it or is it better to wait until I file for my marriage petition to a US Citizen?

You'd need to file another I-765, pay the fee again, and wait ~6 months for a new card.

You're better off just getting another EAD under the marriage petition while you're waiting for a green card.

I asked this question about a week ago. You should search the forum to see some of the responses I received. Personally I think I am going to wait until my legal status becomes more permit than DACA because I heard it can cause a major headache. You also want to have to only change your name once. For me that opportunity is when I am ready to adjust.

Like I mentioned on the other post. I waited until my DACA renewal time and sent the application with my new name on it. I also sent a copy of my marriage certificate and my new passport. No problems at all.

If you're planning on doing an AOS, you're better off waiting until you get petitioned through marriage and just put your new name in the application.
