Hey everybody.

I know there have been some issues with the Extended DACA President Obama put out. I believe it is still on "hold" until the lawsuit is handled. I currently have DACA and am planning to join the army through the MAVNI program and will receive a citizenship. Now, my parents and I were all EWI, so they have been living out of status. Aside from Extended DACA, which would have gave them deferred action status, in what ways can a U.S. citizen help their EWI parent, if there are any?

There is a parole in place directive for military members allowing relatives of U.S citizens to get parole to adjust status.

Assuming once you're a citizen through MAVNI you could also do this

Parole in place. It's a special type of parole available ONLY to the family members of US military members (active, reserve, and veterans).
Namely, USCIS paroles the immigrant relative, into US already from within US. This act of being "lawfully paroled in", gives them parolee status for 1 year, and clears any previous illegal entry, allowing them to adjust status.
