RIP Heath Ledger

NEW YORK - Heath Ledger was found dead Tuesday in a Manhattan apartment, naked in bed with sleeping pills nearby, police said. The Australian-born actor was 28.

Not to take away from a tragedy but there are now HUNDREDS of people gathered around his apartment building "waiting for news" (I swear that's what the reporters said). I don't know what kind of "news" could come out.

Anyway, I liked this actor, too bad he's gone.

That's sad. I wonder why he did it? Anyway, I loved Brokeback Mountain and 10 Things I Hate About You was a major guilty pleasure. Sad to see him go. He was good at what he did.

RIP the Dark night should be coming out around July, they say thats one of his best performances.

I don't know. The sleeping pills thing is kind of suspicious. I was talking to a friend about it and she said that he did an interview with some magazine where he talked about how he prepared for the role of Joker. He rented a hotel room for a month and isolated himelf in it for hours, creating the Joker voice, getting himself into the role. He kept a "Death Diary" where he wrote down demented thoughts which he thought Joker might think. He said in the interview that preparing for the role really messed with his head. The power of suggestion is pretty strong, so I wonder if that caused some lasting damage? Dunno. But people with families kill themselves all the time.

yeah well i guess we will find out what really happened when they finish their whole investigations.. i also read what he said about the Joker character messing with his head.. CRAZY = /

Hopefully it'll turn out not to be a suicide, as I'm sure an accidental death will be less horrifying for his family.
