Are there any U-1 / U-2/U-3 recipients on the forum that have accrued the 3 years and are getting ready to or have already applied for a green card? If so, do you guys have any insight on how the process is? Is it a standard application just like DACA? IS there an interview or is it waived for U status individuals?

You file I-485 with the typical supporting documents (evidence of U status, birth certificate, etc).
You check the box under "other" and put down "U visa holder for 3 years".

lol yeah, I figured that much.
I guess I was asking for more of the interview part. I know GC applications require interviews but a lot are waived. I'm wondering if there are things I can do to prepare for the interview, if there will be one, and what extra paper work i should have for the filing. I could ask my lawyer, again, but he made it seem like it's a done deal. He also made it seem like that to get the UVisa in the first place and it was definitely not that. We spent a lot of money, time, phone calls, and luck correcting a "done deal" that my lawyers submitted.

I don't believe there is any interview process for the I-485 supplement E. My 3rd year anniversary coming up in early 2016.

I've heard that U-visa holders may be able to apply for adjustment 90 days prior to the 3rd anniversary date. I haven't been able to confirm that from any official sources.

you may need to acquire another LE certification as part of your I-485 application. I believe there is an alternative to that if you are unable to obtain a certification because of the case being closed.

VSC was processing I-485 supplement E from OCT 6, 2014 on March 31, 2015. So it's safe to assume that they are taking about 5/6 months to process U-visa adjustments.

I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status Based on an approved U Visa October 6, 2014"

ahhhh i'm excited for you! the U visa it's self is great but it's a waste if for some reason we can't get GCs. I wonder if we're even DACA eligible if for some reason our GC applications are denied.

that second LE certification is what I'm worried about. Recently, our PD had a change in Chief and the new Chief just won't sign anything with immigration.
