Hello. I've been reading some posts lately on people adjusting their status with legal entry via AP. I came into the US initially on a visitor visit - B2 I believe. And I have traveled abroad and back with AP last year. Is it possible for me to adjust my status?

As an immediate relative (spouse, child under 21, or parent) of a US citizen - yes.

Via any other means (any non immediate relative family category, any employment category, or DV lottery) - you'll need 245(i) grandfathering.

By marriage ...the Ap just allows you to adjust here in the U.S. But it will have to be by marriage for example or something similar

All AP thus is change your LAST (not initial) entry whatever it was, legal or not, to entered with inspection. That is ALL does, however, like with marriage, if you want to adjust faster, then your LAST entry needs to be with inspection

In order to adjust via marriage, at all your last entry needs to be legal/with inspection. If you EWI'd then you can either do the AP way to clear it and then seek adjustment, or you will need to seek the provisional waiver, and then undergo consular processing abroad.

Consular processing is not adjustment of status.
