Hey guys I've been on and off on this forum ever since I applied for DACA back in 2013, I had a diff screenname labeled futurelegal13 but was never able to find my password and it gave me trouble changing it so anyways in here now. Not sure if there is a AOS approval thread or not but anyways Long story short as I said I filed for DACA back in January 2013 and almost two years later I can say I am legal now though AOS. It was a somewhat long journey but it was well worth the wait! My timeline is as follows:

Filed for DACA -January 29,2013
Biometrics-3/25/2013
Approved for DACA on 6/11/13
Applied for advance parole on 9/3/2014
Approved for advance parole on 12/5/2014
Traveled to Mexico on 1/9/2105 for 4 days
Entered the US legally on 1/13/15
Applied for AOS through marriage on 3/2/2015
AOS biometrics- 4/2015
AOS interview-8/5/2015
AOS approval -12/30/2015

Thanks to Barack Obama for DACA I was able to start off somewhere and be where I am now.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask and I will answer. And good luck to everyone on the same journey, I still don't know how to react to this awesome news, what a great way to start the new year off with great news!!

How exciting! Congratulations!!
I am gathering all my paperwork for AOS through marriage. Been married to USC for 13 years so hopefully the process is simple. My I130 was approved before traveling with AP. What did you have to submit for the AOS?

Thank you, well there is quite a bit of what i submitted.

Marriage certificate
Birth cert of myself and wife
Birth certificate of my two kids
Photo ids of both of us
Social security cards
Copy of passport
Copy of our taxes for the last two years I believe for both of us
I also needed a sponsor so I needed to have their tax for 3 years, proof of citizenship and pay stubs
I sent in pictures of me and wife kids etc..
Copy's of bills that were under my name and also my wife's
Copy of my advance parole even tho customs kept both I made a copy before hand
Copy of my i94 entry date
Copy of my ead card
Joint bank accounts copy
Also submitted copy of our mortgage deed info since we had purchased in both our names.
And last but not least a medical exam.

There's probably more that I submitted just to prove that my marriage is legit, I've been married for 4 years

I'm sure you won't have a problem as far as marriage goes, you would just need the documentation to prove it.

Let me know if I can help with anything else.

Thanks

Thank you for your response! I have all of that, minus the sponsor. I'm not sure if I'll need one or not...? Such an exciting time, and a little nervous.

You need a "sponsor", there is no way around. This is usually your spouse, they have to make above the poverty line, if they don't make enough you can add the in-laws, relatives, etc. someone who can help you financially if you cannot. This is to make sure that you will not resort to welfare which would later bar you from naturalization

What if you show proof of 100K in the bank?

You'll make friends here on DAP. Lol.

If I remember correctly, you can do that. It'll be sufficient, just attach that to your I-864

Correct ^ since basically I'm the one that brings the majority of the money to the table didn't really mean nothing cus my wife has to be the one to do so. But since she didn't, I needed a sponsor, so I just used my brother.
