My second DACA work permit expire in the coming September. And I am planning to get finance for a new car but what if my renewal is being rejected? What would happen to my car (my driver license will also become invalid) and my loan?? Should I try to lease a vehicle instead maybe it is safer?

Thanks

Did you commit any felony/misdemeanor? If no, your DACA will never be affected. That's all you need to know.

No I didn't, but there is no law protect us, someone in USCIS can make a mistake somewhere and our application can be delayed for months after our permit expired, we can lose our job..etc

So what exactly are you looking for from us? There is no absolute assurance with anything in life. You will be alright if you did not commit any felony. End of story.

If delays are what worries you. Then send in your renewal at the maximum 150 days before expiration.

Quote:
USCIS strongly encourages you to submit your DACA renewal request between 150 days and 120 days before the expiration date located on your current Form I-797 DACA approval notice and Employment Authorization Document (EAD). Filing during this window will minimize the possibility that your current period of DACA will expire before you receive a decision on your renewal request.
