I am applying for AP to travel for work related reasons. I am putting together my application and I'm wondering if our employer writes us a letter does it need to be in a sealed envelope or does it need to be just printed in an 8.5x11 sheet along with the rest of our application? Also for those who applied for AP what did your application consists of? I am nervous that I won't have enough evidence. Thank you all for your help!

I would recommend printing it on a 8*11 and including it with the application. Placing the letter in a separately sealed envelope is more likely to cause confusion of the adjudicator on your case. You'll want to minimize confusion as much as possible to increase the likelihood of your application being approved.

Use a regular 8.5x11. no seal. I did that successfully two times.

A valid reason to travel. This can be backed up w/ by a letter from your supervisor, a proposal from a company abroad whom you would like to visit. Proof you work for the company you state you work for and a timeline of travel (hotel, air, etc).

First time i only sent proposal from company abroad and my relation to that proposal (ie project manager etc). second time (same reason) i also included a letter from supervisor.

Good luck.
