Today was a great day a little info on me I was born in the Dominican Republic was brought here illegally at the age of 6 I was able to get daca and just last year shortly after renewing my daca on April 2015 I traveled abroad with the help of advance parole. My husband and I decide to get a lawyer and apply to adjust my status and today was our interview we have been together almost 5years and have a daughter. At the interview today we had a really nice guy her was around early thirties most of the question where to my spouse and then he asked me aa couple things shortly after he said I'm approving your case you will receive your green card in two weeks. This is the moment I've been waiting for years. God is good and in three years I will apply for citizenship

Congratulations! Please become a citizen the first chance you get (3 years) and register and vote at the next election. None of us here can vote but we depend on the kindness of fellow immigrants who don't kick the ladder once they reach their goal.

A huge congrats!

Did you need to apply again for another EAD to change your name or did you keep the same one you have for DACA?

When did you submit your application? A timeline would be a huge help to those who would like to do the same. Thanks.
