I applied for advance parole and with that I cleared my EWI.
My AOS through marriage interview is in a few days and I am wondering if any of you guys where asked about your previous EWI, and if so, did the immigration officer seem concerned?

Thank you in advance.

So AP clears your EWI, right? Meaning, if someone were to decide to leave the country they would not be subject to a ban and could apply to come in with a Visa?

^Technically, it doesn't clear it, but changes it to inspected instead.
Depends, what do you mean by coming in with a visa?

On the original question, what they want to see at the adjustment interview is that you were legally inspected...nothing more, nothing less. Provided you meet the other requirements for adjustment dealing with the application of course.

Thank you for the clarification, Ianus.

These are uncharted waters.

The ruling in Arrabally basically said that travel on AP doesn't trigger a 10 year ban because the government is giving you a brief permission to leave and return.

Problem being - that you are expected to return with the advance parole. The consulate in question may still find you inadmissible and refuse to issue you a visa.

Insightful and intelligent as always. Thank you, Demise.
