AOS processing time

Hi everyone,

wanted to hear your thoughts on AOS processing times. sent in app last Nov. up until Jan 2016 the local office was processing April 2015 apps. in Feb it went back to Mar 2015 and for the last update it is showing March 2015.

Is it actually possible that they are going backwards in processing these or do you think it can be related to the changes USCIS is making (processing cases electronically etc). many applicants that filed around time i did or after have their interview dates in hand or have completed them.

Just curious on what you all think on the backwards processing of the case by local field office.

It is my understanding that the processing times for Adjustment of Status cases vary depending on the Field Office where your application is being adjudicated. Which USCIS Field Office are you dealing with?

I sent my Adjustment of Status application last year March 23, 2015. I had an interview at the El Paso USCIS Field Office in July of 2016 and everything went well, but have yet to receive any updates since then. I'm assuming they are backlogged, and that maybe the reason it shows them going backwards, due to the large amount of workload.
