Hello Everyone,

I'm just worried that my DACA is about to expire. The processing time for the renewal has gone way too long than the usual processing time. Did anyone have their DACA expired despite submitting the renewal within 180 days?

I heard somewhere that the company will not pay you until you get your new EAD. Or you can just go on a temporary leave.

Funny thing, I got a job at a school district soon after receiving DACA back in 2012. I've since renewed and am in the process of renewing for the second time currently, but the school district has never asked me to update my EAD with them. Guess I'm just lost in the shuffle of thousands of employees haha.

I work for a Fortune 500 and I've seen employees get put on unpaid leave if they have not received the updated card. Also been hearing of termination for those who do not renew on time :\
