Flying domestically with valid foreign passport

HI guys,
So I'm going to NYC with my family for vacation. Me, my bro and sister have DACA and DLs. My mom however, only has a valid Foreign passport and AB 60 DL with federal limits. Should I be worried about her getting checked through TSA and getting questioned? She's very nervous about it and having second thoughts about going. Our flight is in 6 hours, so I really need an answer from you guys ASAP.

Do not use AB60 DL. It's not a valid ID for boarding an airplane. As for a foreign passport, some people use it without any issue but I also heard a story about getting an issue with a TSA and a border patrol.

What was the issue? Did they question their immigration status?

I am wondering about this as well. My mother would like to visit me for military graduation but her CA ID just expired and will need to use a foreign passport.

Thanks that was helpful advice from lawyers. So it seems risky for her to fly with just her passport. I think it's best for her to stay. A week long vacation isn't worth the risk of deportation proceedings. Thanks for your input.

What? I've flown so many times with my passport before I got DACA... TSA only looks at the front ID page... never had issues.

The only issues I've heard of is smaller airports near land borders like El Paso.

I live in LA, I've flown to NYC with just my passport so many times.

You will be fine with a valid passport. In the past 2 years I traveled over 5 times nationally and internationally with a valid passport and had no issues.
