online account access code expired...

I received a letter after applying for my renewal, the letter was about creating a online account in USCIS via a access code on the letter.

The letter was sent out after 3 weeks of receipt date, and I received it in 1 week. And the access code is only valid within 1 month of the receipt date....I tried to use it when I received the letter and it expired.....Anyone has similar issue?

Yes, I had that issue too. My initial date of receipt was 5/9 and I received my online code access in the mail on 6/10! So, I emailed USCIS Customer Contact Center and I'm waiting to hear back from their Technical Help Desk personnel.

I had the same issue, expired access code, so I emailed them. Someone from USCIS called me, verified information and gave me a new access code.

but is that account useful at all? I didn't have it for my last 2 renewals.

All your documents are uploaded on there. For example, you can see and print your biometrics letter before it is mailed to you. I think it's useful in that sense.
