I want to delete this account and it's weird that there is no option to do so.

I am considering volunteering through volunteerHQ.org under their teach english program or special needs care program (in Mexico). I know with a strong cover letter, filing forms correctly, providing as much valuable evidence, and having a clean background I could potentially be accepted. Would this be good enough? If I submit all forms correctly, fees, a good cover letter, proof of admission into the volunteer program, brochure..? please feel free to add any suggestions as to what to include in my application packet.. maybe a letter from my supervisor stating it would be a good experience for the line of work we do? or perhaps a counselor at my college as well?

I have a clean background and as far as I know, I'm not in any removal proceedings (as I've never been in trouble/in contact with ICE other than when I applied for DACA through USCIS). My DACA doesn't expire until June of '17 (so I'd like to get this going asap).

basically...

I have been working for an Elementary School as a Paraeducator for over 2 years now and though I'm not an actual certified teacher (yet) I do carry out teacher-like duties. In a nutshell I have a full classroom of 5th grade students that need academic and social enrichment (after school). Most importantly they need help with homework, and getting back on track with standards. Through this job I am also able to pick up substitute jobs as a Special Ed Aide in classrooms at other schools within the district. Though I'm still getting through community college (no declared major yet but completing my AA) I do plan to transfer as soon as I can. I really enjoy this career path of working with children, especially in an academic setting. Do you guys think this would be a strong enough argument as to why I would like to travel to volunteer? Could I say that it's for both educational and humanitarian reasons?

That is not my "cover letter" by the way, I'll definitely articulate myself much better than that haha
It's just so you guys can get an idea of my situation right now.

Also, does anyone know how to find out if you have any removal proceedings or anything on your background that you may not know about? I know for a fact that I do not but I'm wondering if there is a way to make sure other than with an attorney? Never hurts to double check and make absolutely sure.

this is a lot to read I know, thank you for reading and 100x more if you have information I could use
You are definitely eligible. But you will file for AP - Educational reason, not humanitarian. My sister was approved for a volunteer opportunity which was related to her work field and had letters submitted from the organization and from her job. What you need is a solid letter from that organization inviting you to participate, perhaps a letter from your job or even your initial job letter and finally your own personal statement detailing your career and how this relates to it. If you're going to file under humanitarian, this has to do with medical reasons or health reasons for YOUR own family members so that's a no go. Good luck.

you sure humanitarian has to do with YOUR own family members. etc?i think there was someone who gave me the idea of volunteering to clear ewi and his volunteer purpose was to help with the environment(preserve) in jamaica. I believed he filed it as humanitarian but i could be wrong. Anyways I filed a similar way (humanitarian) with Mexico for animal safety and rescue in march its still pending although my requested dates passed a month ago.

Hello there! Sorry for replying late, but I would like to suggest you that, if you want to engage in a volunteering program, then find a good organization who arranges such program in your local nearby area. I have not with the volunteering yet, but my brother always engages with volunteering program. Recently he has participated in a mission humanitaire volunteering program for helping the people out there. For finding such program he always took the help from the internet and read reviews on it.
