How is everyone?

I've been reading lot of threads regarding the biometrics appointment, and I am also having the same issue and I would appreciate any information.

My EAD expires in September, so I applied for the second renewal in early May. Got both receipts in the mail, the case status says that biometrics appointment has been scheduled and mailed out, but I never received it. Waited 30 days until submitting a request. Three weeks later, got an email saying that I should create a USCIS account. So I created one, but in order to see my case, I need some kind of online access code which I NEVER got. So I submitted another request here https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/contactus requesting a new access code and I'm just waiting for now.

Does USCIS approve DACA in order of when the biometrics were taken or in order of when the application was received?

Is there anything I can do at this point?

I am having the same problem. Because I can't sleep because of this, I actually started trying to rationalize the cause as to why some people are experiencing delays on biometrics. I think it depends on the general population of DACA recipients on the area you live in. The reason I say this is because we are not the only ones, If you look at tracking numbers before yours you can tell that there are definately people on the same boat as us. From the ones I looked at, seems like almost half. I could be wrong on the reason, maybe just bad luck.

I got an answer from https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/contactus today saying the following:

State: Resolved
Category: Software
Configuration item:
Opened by: Ron
Assignment group: ELIS Service Desk

Description:
User needs help with Online Access Code Reset

Additional comments: Call Customer Service at the same number... 1-800-375-5283 which basically does nothing.

I will call them tomorrow to see if with this recommendation from their IT desk documented they can actually give me code or reset it or whatever they need to do. I will keep you posted. . I would not waste time and call tomorrow and demand a passcode reset on your code. Maybe one of us is lucky.

The access code should be on the letter which told you to make an account. I am also in the same situation.

I sent in a request through email because my access code expired before I could access the website and a USCIS representative called me and gave me a new access code over the phone. Try to email a request and hopefully you get a response, they contacted me a few days later.

I did the same, I called Friday and should get an answer by Tuesday. I have a feeling biometrics might be triggered by this access code B.S. I hope so. I spoke to the IT service desk and they said they don't know why they are having this issue...

Very interesting. This is what I thought originally! But then I started hearing about people going for biometrics. Does anyone remember what the charge for renewal was last time? As far as I can remember, it was $380. But the instructions this year clearly state everyone has to pay $465.

We've always done biometrics for renewals and I believe the cost has always be 465.
