I'm so upset but at this point their is nothing I can do but wait for my renewal. Few months ago I was reading USCIS news and saw that my country was eligible for Temporary Proctection Status. I applied with a fee waiver and followed all the instruction because at the time i had some financial issue and just re applied for my DACA renewal. My application was rejected and sent it back to me. They didn't even bother reading my fee waiver explaination. I was able to get some fund $515 bucks and re applied right away for the second time, my application was rejected the second because my country time period was over. I emailed them to find out what's going on and got no answer until now. Basically stating they apologize for the delay and that I was eligible the first time I applied. Now I have been out of work for the past few months and do not have that $515 anymore, I'm still waiting for my DACA renewal to be approved. Now my question is how can they make mistakes like this, I clearly spoke to them about it and explained i read the information on USCIS website. How can they have important news and their employees are not aware of it. I'm basically shocked

"However, based upon the information provided in your email and the rejected filings, the applicant appears eligible to submit a late initial TPS filing. As explained on the USCIS web site for Temporary Protected Status, an applicant may qualify to file an initial TPS application late if they meet at least one of the late initial filing conditions.
Please refile the applications with the same supporting documents and payment $515"

This is basically what i received, just can't believe it they can make mistake like this twice. I did reply back to them, contacted the same authorities but i doubt anything will happen. Now just waiting for my daca renewal and hope to hear back from Ombudsman, Senate or Congress but so for all i have been hearing is wait wait wait...

From what you posted, it seems that they declined the fee waiver and thats why they rejected your application. I do not know your situation but if I knew that there was a limited period to apply for TPS, I eould have played it safe and found a way to get the money.

The first time i did it was with the fee waiver it was rejected, so I assumed that was the reason, the second time I did with the proper fee it was also rejected and both cases they said the time frame was closed but like I mentioned earlier before I submitted the first application USCIS web stated my country had an extension but apparently I can only guest their case officers didn't know that because on both of my rejection letter that was the reason. I emailed them to see if I can re apply with the fee waiver just waiting to hear back. And even if I pay the fee which I don't have currently it will almost be useless because my DACA will be approved before my TPS at this stage.
