Working with expired EAD

There is a small chance that my EAD may expire before it is renewed. Partly my fault because I filed it at 100 days. Anyhow, IF I notify my job and they permit me to work with the expired EAD (although this is highly unlikely), is this illegal?

Is this going to affect me later down the line for GC application or whatever (if that day ever even comes)?

Sent in May, case was received May 28.
Biometrics completed mid June.

Nothing else yet...

The USCIS website only reflects the date that the 821D DACA renewal app was received and for the EAD, it only says that biometrics has been scheduled...

Expiration: First week of September

i haven't even had my biometrics done, at this point im so sick of this bullshtt am ready to marry any one who says ugh

I'm in the same position as you. Received May 31, Biometrics early June, EAD expires second week of September. I'm hoping i will get it as a last minute, but I will probably be let go if it expires..process took longer than I expected.

i have same exact schedule as you guys...i work in a lab doing my dream job I just hope they dont notice and when i get it everything will be fine. its weird they havent told me anything though...when i worked at jcpenny they knew a whole 2 months prior and i got me ead 20 days before it expired, that was a close call
