I dont see why not, unless trombone there cancels daca and leaves you hanging like a mango on a a tree you should still be able to apply and get it.

Yes, as long as the new president does not cancel DACA. In fact, if DACA is cancelled it would mean that our unexpired DACA status would be immediately cancelled as well. That's the unfortunate reality...

I thought our DACA status would stay until expiration. Are you sure about this?

Depends how the next President handles it. They could just cancel the program and allow us to continue with our status until they expire. However, I don't think Drumpf would care and actually throw us out of the country in the first wave of deportations

It would depend on wording.
But, if a president really wanted to cancel it, the correct wording would be put in place.

How is a 3rd DACA renewal possible?

Didnt DACA come out 2012?

Therefore:
2012 to 2014 - First Renewal in 2014
2014 to 2016 - Second Renewal in 2016
2016 to 2018 - Third Renewal in 2018

Are we in 2018?

This Has been my theory. I think trump wants to save DACA. Key word “HE” not Republicans definetly not Democrats. He, wants all the glory. So it’s gonna be a while before both side give up but when they do and they will... here comes trump ton”save the day”. Watch
