I am new to the forums. I had DACA since 2012 and I recently was accepted for my 2nd renewal.

I have been lurking on these forums for years and I believe they are very helpful.

I will share my timeline with you guys.

Form I-821D
06/03/2016 - We received your Form I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, and emailed you a receipt notice. It is being processed at our Integrated Operating Env location.
08/11/2016 - we approved your Form I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, Receipt Number xxx, and sent you an approval notice. Please follow the instructions in your notice. If you do not receive your approval notice by September 10, 2016, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice.

Form I-765
06/03/2016 - We received your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , and emailed you a receipt notice. It is being processed at our Integrated Operating Env location.
06/10/2016 - We scheduled you for a biometrics appointment.
08/11/2016 - On August 11, 2016, we began producing your new card for your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number xxx.

On September 2013 I was approved DACA. it expired on 2015.

5 Monhts prior to expiration I committed a Misdemeanor Class B Possesion of Marij less than 2 oz (7grams)

...i promised to myself to never get in trouble and not to touch these things again..(different story..because i know you all will be giving me speeches)

anyway.

At first i thought i did not qualify for renewal.

Once my EAD expired , 8 months later i was told i did qualify as long as its not a felony or more than three Misdemeanors (or one significant misdemeanor...domestic violence, illegal pessesion of a weapon, assault..ect)

on June 6 i sent my application for renewal
on june 27 i did my biometrics

2 weeks later i checked online and they received my biometrics. and said it was now being processed at the IOE (E=filing)

today august 21st. i have not received any notice or accptance or denial.

my questions is, why is it taking long ?

Everyone's case is taking forever! Have you been approved yet?
