This whole ordeal of delays has caused me so much stress. I thought this being my second renewal this would be a breeze. I submitted my renewal via a lawyer late June. I received my Biometrics appointment for July 26th, 2016. and since then i have not heard an update. I'm so stressed because if i get fired i don't know what to do. I have a very good paid job in a struggling market, Oil and Gas. And with the current market there's not any companies hiring. I can't sleep at night and my Lawyer says she will keep calling. USCIS told her that they are taking longer than 120 days due to high applications. To me that's bull shit and we should all get a extension to accommodate the delays. HR has not contacted me about the expiration also the first time they said nothing. Should i say nothing and wait on them to tell me something? And pray my renewal comes in the next 2 weeks? What should i do tell HR or stay quiet?

It is up to you. Legally, you are not required to tell your employer that your EAD expired, that is their job.

You are not require to tell them but legally speaking once your EAD expire you lose the authorization to work and it's illegal for you to work. There could be consequences later in the future.
