On October 6, 2016, we began producing your new card for your Form I-765

Guys I just checked a bunch of random receipt numbers, there's a LOT of people that went into production for this date. It makes me wonder what it really means. It might just be a case where USCIS is going to be sending out a lot of approvals all at once. Keeping my fingers crossed.

You most likely have another week until you receive the card.

9/28: Approved
9/29: Production
10/15: Produced
10/18: Mailed
10/19: Received

My card took 3 weeks after it said "Card Being Produced"

I think I'm going to just draw the conclusion it takes an average of 3 weeks which means by next FridayI should have it.

One more week of waking up to going to the gym, park, hanging out with mom and learning how to be better person ohhh, and drinking wine lol.

I went into production 10/4, and it's still not even produced. At this point, I know I won't get it at 3 weeks. I was support to start a job Monday, but I can't start without the card. What a mess!

Especially that DACA renewal is trivial. Unless you got convicted of your third misdemeanor, or a felony, and since they do not require evidence of presence for renewal the application only needs to be rubber stamped. If something else comes out in the wash they can terminate your DACA and EAD later.

Not to mention that DACA is not an admission or grant of status, so any inadmissibility issues, even those that would render you inadmissible for life with a waiver available or not are non-issue. (e.g. multiple CIMTs are a severe but waivable inadmissibility, but as long as they are not felonies or there aren't more than 2 they're not an issue for DACA). Another example being false claim of citizenship or illegal re-entry, first is impossible to cure (aside esoteric things like U visas), and second one requires a 10 year exile followed by a waiver request.
