I literally just came back from my trip last week but I couldn't stay longer because of my job. I'm thinking of applying again but was wondering if I should wait a while to do so again.

Anyone else apply for multiple APs? If so how long did you wait to apply again?

I got approved for one in April, then applied for the second one in May that got denied

Do you mind sharing the reason for your trip and how your experience was?

I applied to visit my sick grandfather, he's getting old and I hadn't seen him in over a decade. I would be applying again for the same reason.

Why did you get denied the second time?

What proof did you give, what did they ask? I want to go vist my grandma but I'm afraid they'll deny me.

I had a signed doctors note from my grandfather, I guess it also helped that my lawyer helped me fill out the application.

I honestly would apply for AP one year from now and try to take more time off and ask for more days off. The key is to be extremely persuasive and write an extremely professional letter with evidence.

I just don't want to wait another year. They did give me 2 months in my first trip but I could only stay for 2 weeks because of work. I get another 2 weeks vacation starting in January so I want to apply now.

Just get married and apply for a green card via your spouse. Then you can go any time
