might get fired from my job....where's my EAD??

I filed a renewal on August 5th. everything was approved. I called USCIS and I spoke to a lady, and she told me my card should be coming in the mail two weeks after October 13th, which would mean that my card should be here by the 27-28th...of October.

I still have not received anything and I am really stressed out and nervous cause I just got the job of my dreams, finally making a good living and I got an email from HR saying that if they do not receive the new card before it expires on November 17th...I will automatically be terminated....this is just terrible. I am getting so anxious and nervous. It has never taken so long. this is my third time doing this!!!!

I don't know what to do. I cant afford to lose this job.

I am sorry you are going through this. Did you tell them it's on its way, basically?

My shit was approved oct 13and shipped yesterday. Any day for you now.

if i were you i would take my recipet number and take picture from uscis website showing that you r approved or card mailed send to hr and call uscis explain them the situation that u r approved and need to show something before November 17. I'm sure you will be ok. good luck

That sucks! You still have a little bit of time but if push comes to shove and you start running out of time I suggest doing what papi mango suggested. Maybe they'll accept that. Hopefully you'll have your card in your hands by then. Good luck! And congratulations on having the job of your dreams. That's rare and pretty awesome!

Bet you already got it yesterday or you'll get it on Monday. If they told you it's in the mail, it's in the mail!
