DACA is taking forever and work permit expired

Hi everyone, my name is Sid and this is the second time I am renewing my DACA and second time reapplying for my work permit.

I submitted everything on June 8th 2016, and still as of today 10/28/16(date my work permit expired) I have not received my work permit. I don't understand why, I did my biometrics in July and still nothing.

And sadly starting tomorrow the 29th, I have 30 days to get my renewal or I'll be terminated from my current job.

Every time I call USCIS they put me on to a tier 2 officer and that person tells me my security check (background check) is pending. But it's been pending for so long.

I don't know what to do anymore, I don't want to lose my job =/

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do. Try to enjoy your unpaid time off as much as you can.
