Can we work for the state?

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know if we can work for the state(Texas)?

Do you know what departments hire people with DACA?

Unless the position specifies you need to be a U.S citizen, it's my understanding you can work anywhere. I also believe if the position has citizenship requirements it will specify that in the job description. Not sure if that helps any. Just my two cents.

I worked for the state of Oklahoma building streets (pouring concrete) ... Before I even got my Work permit. Got hired with simple letters of being approved. Was given 3 months to turn in my work permit. My card expired in august and was laid off. Im still waiting on renewal.
