Still speculation...

HOUSTON - U.S. Rep. Michael McCaul of Texas is in talks with President-elect Donald Trump's transition team to become secretary of homeland security, according to NBC News.

McCaul represents District 10, which includes parts of Harris and Waller counties.

He is also chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security.

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick told KPRC 2 Wednesday night that McCaul could be a good fit.

"I think Michael McCaul, congressman, who is the chairman of the homeland security committee, would be a great homeland security director," Patrick said.

McCaul was re-elected Tuesday with 57 percent of the vote in District 10.

We will post more on this story once we get more information.

He is not a fan of DACA

https://mccaul.house.gov/media-cente...address-border

"I am pleased the House also passed a measure to end the enticement created by DACA, the Administration’s failed executive action which grants immigration benefits to individuals outside of the law, by preventing the President from using Federal funds or resources to continue or expand the program.”

He referred to it as failed execute action outside of the law. People like him are far more dangerous then other republicans who don't really know are care about the program. He understand exactly how it works, exactly how to get rid of it, and exactly how to stop us from getting any benefits/silver lining from it.

May God help Trump make the right decision. Anyone but Kobach, Arpaio, Sarah Palin, Sessions. That would be disastrous for our community. All on Trump right now. He will come through for us.

Only if God was a thing.

Sarah Palin will be in charge of the cabinet.

Ben Carson will be secretary of education - the guy denies evolution and believes in Christian tales
"
For the record, Carson is not qualified for the position. He has a well documented history of substituting religious superstition for scientific truth.
Carson rejects evolution and climate change, despite overwhelming scientific evidence to the contrary. Previously leading scientist and atheist Richard Dawkins referred to Carson as a “disgrace” for denying evolution.
Carson also believes that the pyramids were built by the biblical figure Joseph to store grain.
In the past Carson compared abortion to slavery, saying rape victims seeking abortions are “perverted,” while declaring he would “love” to see Roe vs. Wade overturned, and wants all abortion outlawed, even in cases of rape or incest.
Carson was once ridiculed after suggesting that if Noah could build an Ark, he could be president.
