Greetings,

I hope this is the appropriate part of the forum to post this.

We are launching a television show on a national network in the spring that follows individuals who are under an Order of Deportation and are in the final stages of their appeal.

If you are in this situation, we would like to tell your story. We are interested in those who were raised in the United States or are long term residents. You can be of any nationality or live in any part of the United States.

We are particularly interested in people from the age of 18 to 32. Many are Dreamers but some may not be eligible.

Our goal is to put a face to the issue of removals and to show the impact on family and friends.

We will also talk with your attorney or advocate about the show. Some attorneys want their clients to tell their stories, others don't.

If you are interested, please email tgs.thedeported@gmail.com. Please feel free to share this with other individuals you may know who are in this situation.

All conversations are private within our production company and the network. Nothing will be shared outside our group. If you become part of the television series, there will be appropriate forms for you and your attorney or advocate to sign.

Thank you.

I don't think any of us (active members) of this forum have order of deportations. I seen maybe 1 or 2 people mention it in a blue moon.

Hopefully somebody that lurks will contact you and share their story.

Thanks for the comment. So far we've had 9 responses to our post via email. A few from attorneys. There are a number of people who are not eligible for DACA as a result of a minor encounter with the law. For example, one had a shoplifting incident at 15. Another had a marijuana misdemeanor. One said his brother would be interested in finding out more.

We currently are working on filming 11 cases, almost all over the age of 30. We are interested in younger people with an Order of Deportation.

That said, two of the people we are filming have had positive outcomes to their cases.
