My DACA (and EAD) expires March 19th 2017. Today I got my renewal notice (dated 12/14/16) extending my DACA another 2 years (03/19/2017-03/18/2019).

Checked USCIS, EAD was approved yesterday...

Well guess I'm lucky. Of course USCIS can void the card at any point but at least I'll have a card that says I can work for 2 more years.

That is weird, people here are overdue with their EAD and you get yours super fast.

Very interesting.

So your new EAD doesn't start until your old EAD expires? That's new. USCIS always had the start day on the day it was approved, which I never understood because you ended up losing one or two months.

End of October. Basically on the 150th day before expiration.

So it would appear, I haven't received the new EAD yet so there's always the chance they'll screw me and never ship me the actual card.

it's a trend we've noticed in our chats on discord several users have been renewed early.

I wonder if the fact I have a pending I-130 had something to do with this hastily approval.
