Has anybody tried getting their dl with a post dated (not valid yet) EAD?

I actually don't mind being the guinea pig on this, but I'm moving to another state in a few weeks so I'm waiting on the move before I do.

At the same time, I kind of want to do it before trump gets into office lol

Maybe I'm using the wrong terminology lol.
My renewed EAD isn't valid until 4/17(expires 4/19).

Current EAD expires 4/17.

I see,

yeah I have seen people are getting their permits renewed this way. Interesting development.

I mean, you already have the permit, I would just go to the DMV and take both cards just in case.

I would initially just show the new permit. I mean showing both would definately get you a DL until 4/19. Lucky those who are getting post dated permits.
