Exactly, I always thought it was weird they describe DREAMers as "kids" and "children". My guess is the same logic applies here.

I think the trumpkins are still at war though. They hate us with a passion.

Yeah, I'll believe it when Trump says it. And lets see how they define children, I've been here since I was 9, I'm 28 now.

The term "kids" is probably not being used with much specificity here. From a public relations standpoint, dreamers = kids. I think the point being made is here is that there are certain segments of immigrants that are considered very low enforcement priorities.

Kids = Dreamers and if you want to get even more accurate, DACA recipients. I actually think DACA recipients will be the safest under Trump. It's looking a bit tough for the rest however.

So many mixed signals.
