Why did they send me a rfe and said it was insufficient proof of age under 16? I sent school reports when i was even a 7 grader (11) years old? I sent all reports card till i was a senior 16-17 years old. Should i resend the same thing again because I'm sure I'm good and they got mistaken or I don't know

why didn't you send official school transcripts? if you went to school in the same district they should have your school records since you enrolled. go to your school district and ask for an official school transcripts. you should get a print out right away or may take 1-2 days.much easier to verify than checking report cards.

To me it also sounds that you need to proof your age. Kyungwc asked a very good question. Did you send your birth certificate or anything that shows you DOB?

And you should not send the same things. Getting official transcripts wouldn't hurt either. The more you send the better.

Guys one thing is that I don't even trust my lawyer. I don't even know what she sent. When i took all my documents she was reviewing them in front of me really really fast like she didn't care and she never ever reviewed them ever again and just sent them. So i have no idea what she actually sent. I'm planning on sending them myself but I have no idea how to answer a RFE. Any ideas guys? Sorry I'm paranoid because my due date for rfe is March 3 :/

Did you get activation code for elis account? If yes, you can see which documents your lawyer submitted

You have an attorney? Attorneys exist to give you piece of mind by answering all your concerns and to represent you. I really don't recommend having an attorney you don't trust. But, you need to contact her and demand an explanation since it was her job to send everything that was needed and if she didn't she needs to fix that. You paid her for this so make her work and don't pay a dime more. Sorry, but this really gets to me. I really hate it when attorneys do this to people!

I am sorry you got a shitty attorney.

As far as the code, you can call uscis and ask for one. I did receive one and it never worked. But I was able to create an account on ELIS without one but I never saw anything other than the updates to the case so maybe with that code you can. I am not sure.

If you really want to do this on your own and don't think the attorney sent everything you gave her then I would send the stuff you think may help even if you already gave that to the attorney. But you should really look for more stuff... even things that are not official will help.... you know, pictures, report cards, envelopes of letters addressed to you... send everything you have.

Hopefully someone who has had to respond to an rfe can chime in on that.
