Any of you who got application rejected due to incorrect fees, no signature, or other paperwork errors, how long does it take to receive rejection notice in the mail?

I got it rejected as well because of incorrect fee. Got it back within 2 weeks of sending it.

How are you planning to send in the correct fee? A check/money order with the difference? Or 1 revised check/money order. I'm conflicted because I did a money order and it takes a while to get a refund.. Also, USCIS directed me over the phone to just send the difference. However, i'm reading posts about people being rejected because it all needs to be on one check/money order?

Pay the difference? Maybe they already cashed the money order. Its always recommended to send a check to confirm when it gets cashed. It doesn't have to be a checking account belonging to you.

I got the money order back of $465 so I'm assuming it hasn't been cashed yet. USCIS told me to resend the packet with a $30 money order to pay the difference I owe.

Next time I'm definitely sending a check. Lesson learned.

You just have to find out if money order was cashed or not I guess. They could have cashed out money order. All they need is account and routing numbers.

I bought a money order from my bank, and I only sent one of $495.

After I dropped off mine at the post office I went to work and 5 min before work I double checked the website.... I realized they changed the fee three days before . I have never driven so fast in my life before but I managed to get it back before they sent it
