So today I just filled my SSN application. But instead of putting 'legal alien allowed to work', I put 'other'. Is that bad? If so, what can I do?

There is a chance it will be fine.

Don't they ask you for your EAD anyways?

I think they should be able to figure it out. If not you will probably get a notice in the mail.

No difference. You'll still get the social that says "valid for work with DHS authorization"
