Green Card not EAD card

Today I received the Approval Notice letter and a letter for USCIS Account Access Code. I made an account and logged in and found the status, says
" USCIS has produced your Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) and mailed it to the address you provided."

Is this an error you guys have already known?

Yes this an error many people have gotten.

If you actually do get the GC please do the right thing and call USCIS to return it.

Error.. it was the same status for me but still got an EAD Card.

Ditto with the mistake on the site. I had already told my wife that I was going to set a few days aside next week to go drop it off at the Fresno immigration office and tell them they had made a mistake but I received my EAD today haha. Nevermind I guess...

The system was originally set up to give out green cards apparently.
