Two recruiters have turned their backs on me after Trump was elected and I told them I had DACA.

Most of the time, what they're really asking is whether or not you need sponsorship. I haven't had issues after explaining that my EAD does not require sponsorship.

Same ^

Do you need or will you ever need sponsorship?

Simply answer no. Absolutely no need to mention DACA in your answer. That's for HR to deal with once you're hired. HR, and only HR, will know about it, and even then, they will only care that you maintain a valid EAD on file.

Never tell them you have DACA. Show EAD and social when hired.

Don't bring it up.

No sponsorship required.

My manager from my previous job emailed me a few days ago: "i thought of you in this trump era. I hope trump comes to his sense and keeps the dreamer act"

You can tell your manager once you are hired if you wish, just keep it away from HR.

Did this for my last 3 jobs. Never bring up DACA, it will just create confusion.

Why? What would be the problem with HR knowing? Also, once my current permit expires do you guys think I should send it in or wait for an email from them. I ask because I work for a large corporation so all paperwork pretty much goes through some sort of payroll/HR district office so management has never seen my work permit and know nothing about my status.
