My ead expires in October so I should apply in April but my question is has anyone renewed ahead of that time. I kinda want to send mine in sooner but then again I don't want to lose the 500 cause I'm in a really toug situation financially

I'm quoting this from the I-821d Instructions:

Quote:
CAUTION: If you file this request more than 150 days prior to the expiration of your current period of deferred action,
USCIS may reject your submission and return it to you with instructions to resubmit your request closer to the expiration
date. USCIS encourages renewal requestors to file as early in the 150-day period as possible - ideally, at least 120
days prior to the DACA expiration date.
Just send in at exactly the 5 month mark and hope for the best.

I renewed at 5 months and was able to get my approval 7 weeks later. Fastest ever. But this was back in November
