It makes perfect sense to me. I think if everyone that is againts the dream act should read this to see how unfair they are being to a couple of kids that just want a future.

Crazy...I think this is a really good explanation of the hate we get from Lou Dobbs and company. It makes perfect sense, but it's hard to "do the right thing" with this information. That's probably why the world is getting more f-ed up by the day lol.

If you take this theory doohickey to hearth, isn't passing their judgment of "us" the same as "us" passing judgment on "them" without truly knowing what their situation or reasoning due to the limits of our Monkeysphere?

Makes perfect sense. And like fldude mentioned, its exactly the reason why Juan's story may have conjured up some feelings of sympathy from Lou after listening to it.

If most Alicrappers actually knew us personally, I am positive they wouldn't feel the way they do. In their eyes we represent an inferior entity, an entity that resides outside their "monkeysphere."

The writer makes some good points, the most prominent one being the fact that the preponderance of the population pursues personal gain only. Or, the notion that everyone is out after themselves. I have been fully aware of that, have you? (no not you specifically, I mean anyone reading this)
