White House and New York business officials say Schwarzman was critical to Trump keeping the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, also known as the Dreamers program, with Trump making the decision after a call with the hedge fund billionaire. The two also recently chatted at Mar-a-Lago about a possible reorganization of the White House, two people familiar with the meeting say, though the conversation didn't include specific names

So DACA is really safe huh? Amazing. Also much better than bridge act considering that's non-renewable.

Let's hope RACA passes though, but not holding my breath.

Ending DACA doesn't make business sense. Passing RACA does, I was saving towards a down payment on a house, but now I'm holding onto that money in case I have to start my life over elsewhere. But If RACA passes then I would buy a home and pump a ton of money into the economy in other ways as well. Right now I am not spending as much as I would normally because I am saving everything I can in case I get detained. I'm sure thousands of other DACA beneficiaries are also saving money and not spending as much as they would of we didn't have to worry about being deported. Give us RACA and all of that money goes right back into the economy on new cars, homes, and other things.

Watch us get stuck on DACA for life lmao. It wouldn't be a bad thing, but watch it stay around for a long long while.

DACA is great but there is very little room for mistake with this status and it can be taken away at any time.

I would like to have chance to freely travel and become a citizen at some point.
