Hi All,

Please take the time to read through a fellow dreamer's story, and perhaps contribute if you feel inclined to help. Let's help a fellow dreamer reach her goals.

You have to ask yourself:

Are you in the right field if you can't get your school to waive your tuition (for grad school)?

That would actually solve a lot of problems.

There are plenty of people who opt for more cost effective solutions based on your finances, it's called compromises.

What a lazy ass way to ask for help. "Send me money so I can go to grad school"

Sorry that just rubs me the wrong way.

I hate people like that. People who think they can make quick buck by asking cutely.

I wouldn't say it's a bad thing to study, I mean she does seem genuinely interested.

That being said, if you are paying for tuition then its usually:

1. Not competitive enough for funding (you don't need to be a citizen for this)
1.b. You're reaching - go to a lower ranked school and excel there instead for a fraction of the cost
2. Your field doesn't offer funding (which doesn't make sense, because one would not expect people to pay $100k in tuition to become a social worker, a job title that is supposed to benefit the society).

Something is fishy here...
