Has anyone recently received AP for educational reason? Do you have to be enrolled in a US institution and go for a study abroad through your home university or it could just be direct enrollment in a foreign college. Please share what programs and how long they were approved for.
I don't think there is any requirement that you have to be enrolled in a US institution. You can get it approved for however long you want but you must show solid evidence. Just look at the instructions carefully. You need to provide the following items with your application:
- Personal statement explaining how you qualify for AP.
- Evidence (ex. acceptance letter showing you get accepted to the program in XXX country and how long it is for)
